Michigan’s Population Increases Slightly In 2013

LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Numbers just out from the US Census show Michigan's population is rising.

The bureau says as of July 1st, Michigan had about 9.9 million people.
That's an increase of more than 13,000 people from the year before.
The Census Bureau's exact estimate of Michigan's population in July was 9,895,622 people.
Michigan's population also rose slightly from 2011 to 2012 after seven years of decline.
