Music-Inspired Lesson On Nutrition Gets Kids Excited About Healthy Habits

A Northern Michigan school set the books aside Monday and got a music-inspired lesson on nutrition.

The Rock and Roll Nutrition Concert came to Bear Lake Middle School Monday as part of the Fuel Up To Play 60 Program.
The “Jump With Jill” show tries to make the message of healthy habits memorable through music — and works to get kids moving and learning about healthy habits.
The cast hopes to leave students with 9 key take away messages — including respecting your body, eating breakfast daily, incorporating fruits and vegetables, and drinking plenty of milk and water.
