MTM On The Road: Deer Checks Help Everybody

The Michigan DNR is working to remind hunters that having your deer 'checked' at a DNR check station is fast, and can provide a lot of information.

Hunters can learn how old their deer was, and if it has signs of any diseases.

Checking the deer helps the DNR collect research on the size, age, and health of the herd.

This morning Kalin and Stephanie spent some time with the DNR for an update on how the hunt is going.
