Church Collecting Shoe Boxes Filled with Gifts for Operation Christmas Child

All around the world, millions of children wake up on Christmas morning and have no presents to open.

That's why local churches, like the First Covenant Church in Cadillac are taking part in Operation Christmas Child.

People are asked to simply pack a shoe box with gifts, anything from a toothbrush to a toy.

The boxes are then shipped all over the world to ensure a Merry Christmas for all.

“We're so wealthy in America, we have plenty to share, and it's just wonderful to be able to share it with people who have nothing in war torn countries, in impoverished countries, all over the world,” says Pastor Gregory Du Bois.

The church will be collecting for Operation Christmas Child until November 25th.
