NCF 2013: Smoke Free Festival

National Cherry Festival organizers are reminding everyone that most of Traverse City is smoke free.

It is part of the festival's commitment to creating a family-friendly, healthy, positive environment for everyone.

There are a few designated smoking areas around the festival.

You can find them near the beer teen, music stage, and bingo tents.

Organizers hope these policies will keep everyone healthier.

For people who do smoke, there are also special containers at the designated smoking areas to pitch cigarette butts in order to keep garbage out of the parks, beaches, and water.
