U.S. Coast Guard Holds Change of Command Ceremony

The U.S. Coast Guard held a Change of Command Ceremony today, Tuesday.

The ceremony is a time-honored Naval tradition, that represents a total transfer of responsibility, authority, and accountability for an entire command from one person to another.

Today, former Sector Commander Captain Joseph McGuiness retired after 28 years in the Coast Guard.

Taking his place, is Captain Steve Teschendorf
