Local Woman Speaks Out About Meningitis After Contaminated Steroid Shot

A local woman's life changed, after going in for a simple steroid shot to help her with the pain from a pinched nerve.

Now, Theresa Hall is dealing with fungal meningitis.

She was one of the victim's of a contaminated batch of steroids sent to clinics around the nation by a compounding pharmacy in New England.

Fifty people nationwide have died from fungal meningitis or other complications related to the shots. Seventeen of them in Michigan.

At least 261 people statewide have been infected.
