Lake City Digs Out of Six Inches of Snow

People who live and work in Lake City certainly saw their fair share of snow today, six-plus inches have already fallen.

Many spent their day cleaning up the heavy, cakey snow that pounded the area this morning.

Snow plow drivers said that they had been out since early this morning, and don't expect to stop until around nine tonight.

The people we talked to say it took them about two hours to snow blow or shovel the wet, heavy snow out of their driveways.

And no one's plans are changing. The plow drivers and those just shoveling say they expect to be doing the same thing exact thing tomorrow.

9 and 10's Meredith Barack and photojournalist Jacob Johnson have more on the challenges people faced while cleaning up the snow.
