Detroit Authorities Investigating Death of Three People in Two Overnight House Fires

Detroit authorities are investigating the deaths of three people in two overnight house fires

An elderly couple died in a fire at their home on the City's West Side.

The Detroit Free Press says the fire started about 4:30 A.M. Sunday morning, and doesn't appear suspicious.

The couples daughter reportedly escaped the fire, which started in an enclosed porch.

And–a man was killed in a fire about 1 A.M. at another West Side Home.

Family members say the house lacked electricity and the 43-year-old man was using a generator for heat.
