Police Searching for Answers to 50 Car Break-Ins

For the last month and a half, Mt. Pleasant Police have been dealing with break in complaints almost every night.

They believe they're all connected, because they tend to happen in groups, but appear to be random all over the city.

In most cases, the cars were left unlocked.
But in many of them, a valuable item was easily visible, and the thieves smashed a window and took what they wanted.
Police are asking you to keep your cars locked, and valuables hidden from plain sight, especially in a city as busy as Mt. Pleasant.
