Governor Rick Snyder Makes Stop in Traverse City

Governor Rick Snyder made a stop in Northern Michigan to share his views on the six proposals on the Michigan Ballot.

The Governor held a Town Hall Meeting at the Grand Traverse Resort.

It was part of the “Yes on One, No on the Rest” Campaign.

Governor Snyder says he supports proposal one, because it would keep in place the recent changes to the Emergency Financial Manager Law.

Those changes give more power to the Emergency Financial Managers, during State takeovers of public schools or local governments.

The Governor says he felt compelled to speak up, because of all the misleading political ads.

9&10's Kyle Mitchell and photojournalist Joel Deaner attended the meeting and have more details.
