Federal Funding on the Decline For Drug Teams

Federal funding is on the decline for drug teams in Northern Michigan — and police are trying to find other ways to come up with the money they need.

It's the start of the new fiscal year, and Michigan just announced how it will divide up about 6.4 million dollars in federal grants for anti-drug efforts.

That may sound like plenty of money, but drug task forces in the area are getting less of it each year.
