Central Michigan University Looking for Ways to Expand Campus

Central Michigan University is looking for ways to expand their campus.

The board of trustees met to discuss space needs Thursday.

They've put more than $114 Million into academic space in the past 7 years and now, they're working on the next big step for CMU.

Projects approved Thursday include, an addition to an academic building, renting off campus spaces and a new research wet lab, costing $7 Million.

They also approved tuition for the new College of Medicine…and they did it with Northern Michigan Students in mind.

College of Medicine tuition for Michigan residents will be nearly $34,000 a year.

Out of state tuition will be $67,000 a year.
