Hebert wins Michigan PGA Championship

With a trip to the PGA Professional National Championship up for grabs, one of the golfers who is already qualified rose to the occassion in the final round Wednesday.

Grand Traverse Resort's Scott Hebert shot the low round of the day and took the PGA Michigan Championship by four strokes.

Ferris State Katke Golf Course pro Ian Ziska finished second by shooting four under par for the tournament.

Crystal Mountain's Brad Dean finished tied for fifth.  Hebert's co-worker at the Grand Traverse Resort, Lee Houtteman, was tied for ninth.

All four golfers qualified for the 2013 PGA Professional National Championship June 23-26 at the Sunriver Resort in Oregon.

Hebert won the 2008 PGA Professional National Championship so he was already qualified for the tournament before this week started.
