Feedback at 5:00- Should Couples Live Together Before Marriage?

It's a question many couples face after dating for a while, should they move in together or wait until they get married?

According to the National Center for Family and Marriage Research, the last 25 years have seen more and more couples cohabitating before tying the knot. In fact, about two-thirds of couples now live under the same roof before marriage.

A recent study examined divorce rates between those who cohabitate and those who do not. It found that there is not much of a marked difference in divorce between the two groups.

It also shows that people move in for a variety of reasons: using that time as a “trial marriage,” because the couple is not ready for marriage, or for financial concerns.
