Michelin is recalling about 841,000 BFGoodrich and Uniroyal tires.
The company said the tire tread can separate causing air loss.
The tires were sold as replacement tires for commercial trucks and full-sized heavy-duty vans.
The tires were made from April 2010 until early this year.
No deaths or injuries have been reported.
Tires will be replaced at no charge.
