Ford is recalling 2013 Escape SUVs in the US and Canada.
The company says fuel lines can crack and leak.
Ford tells some buyers of the 2013 Escape small SUVs not to drive them, because the engines can catch on fire.
The recall only affects models with 1.6 liter four-cylinder engines, built between April through July 11th this year.
Ford will pick up the Escapes and leave loner cars for the customers.
The company has reports of 3 fires, 2 at the factory and 1 while a customer was driving.
No one was injured.
Ford says customers should call dealers to get the problem fixed.
