You Saw It: Isuzu Recalls SUVs

Isuzu is recalling more than 11,000 Rodeo Sport and Amigo SUVs because rear suspension parts can rust and break off.

The recall affects 1998-2001 Amigos model years and 2002 Rodeo Sports.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the recall affects 21 states, where salt is used on the roads during the winter.

The recall stems from rear suspension link brackets that can rust and fall off the frame.

Isuzu dealers can inspect your vehicle and treat it with a rust-resistant compound or install a new bracket.

Owners of these cars will be notified by the company and start the recall later this month.
