Houghton Lake Man Accused of Intentionally Setting Wildfires

A Houghton Lake man is accused of intentionally setting multiple wildfires in Roscommon County.

Howard LeRoy was sentenced on Tuesday and entered guilty pleas on 2 counts of felony arson.

He was sentenced to 1 year in jail, followed by 24 months probation, $648.00 fines, and was ordered to pay $13,000 in restitution.

LeRoy was originally charged with setting 7 fires in Roscommon County on 3 different days.
