Feedback at 5:00- High School Senior Bike Ride
This week, more than 60 high school seniors were suspended for riding their bikes to school on the last day of their senior year.
One-fifth of the senior class at Kenowa Hills High School made the 2 mile trek to class with a police car keeping an eye on them.
When they got to school, the principal was waiting for them.
She told them they had put their safety at risk — then sent them home for the day, for what was deemed a “senior prank.”
The students missed out on the tradition of the “senior walk” where they go through the school one more time.
The principal later apologized, saying she didn't know they had a police escort, and admitted to overreacting.
For tonight's “Feedback at 5:00” what do you think about this incident?
