Northern Michigan Soldier Injured in Afghanistan Attack

A Northern Michigan soldier is hospitalized after an attack overseas.

Eric Lund is a 2001 graduate of Ludington High School.

He was critically injured in a bomb blast in Afghanistan over the weekend.

Lund lost nearly his entire right arm and some of his left arm below the elbow.

He also suffered some broken bones and shrapnel wounds.

His family says he will be moved to Germany soon to continue his recovery before eventually coming home.
