Police Arrest Man for Threatening to Kill a Grand Traverse County Judge

Police in Traverse City arrested a man at the courthouse for threatening to kill a judge. Police say the man was drunk and became agitated during a security screening yesterday afternoon. That's when he made the threat and someone called police. We're told he took off, but officers found and arrested him near the courthouse.

Police credit the high security measures at the courthouse for being able to arrest the man before he could act on his threat.

The man has not yet been charged.
