Court Workers Say Presque Isle County Mother “Fit For Trial” For Baby’s Death
Here's an update on a Presque Isle County mother accused of causing the death of her infant.
After an evaluating for criminal responsibility and a competency examination, court workers say Karrie Mulka was found fit for trial for the baby's death in Rogers City.
Police arrested Mulka back in November.
The prosecutor charged her with involuntary manslaughter after accusations that she failed to get medical care for her baby after giving birth.
Mulka is expected back in court again next month.
