A Gaylord Man Leads Police On A Chase In Ostego County

Otsego County deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for going more than 85 miles an hour on old U.S. 27 in Corwith Township, shortly after 5:30 yesterday evening.

The driver took off heading south, but finally pulled over north of Parmater road after being slowed by an extended line of traffic, at the s-curves there.

It turned out the 19 year old Gaylord male didn't have a license, and he was arrested for fleeing and eluding, and taken to the Otsego County jail.
