Pine River Middle Schoolers Learn Dangers of Prescription Pills

Three middle school students were rushed to the hospital after one shared her grandparent's prescription drugs with the others.

This all happened at Pine River Middle School in Leroy in Osceola County Tuesday.

All three have been released from the hospital and are okay but the situation offered a shocking reminder how dangerous the pills can be.

The school said the pills were a blood thinner and an anti-psychotic.

Neither can get you high but can be very dangerous when not prescribed to you.

9&10's Eric Lloyd and photojournalist Tony Zyber tracked the story all day and have more details.
