Arrests Made in Crawford County Case of Woman Found in Woods
An update on a bizarre story we brought you last month.
Police in Indianapolis have arrested a man they say left an Indiana woman in the woods in Crawford County, nearly naked and badly beaten.
The woman was found just south of Lovells on October 2.
Indianapolis police say the victim met Matthew Jackson and another woman at a bar in Indiana.
The pair stole the victim's money, beat her, ripped off her clothing and drove her north. They then left her in the woods.
Jackson faces felony charges of robbery, confinement, strangulation and intimidation.
