Program Offers Free Legal Help to Soldiers

It's called the Service for Soldiers program and asks lawyers from across the state to help troops with their legal troubles for free.

Today at Camp Grayling in Crawford County, a group of lawyers were getting a refresher course on helping soldiers.

The program was created by Cooley Law School 4 1/2 years ago.

The attorneys will help soldiers with child custody, divorces, landlord battles and other soldier rights.

The hope is to alleviate the stress of home for the soldiers.

9&10's Eric Lloyd was at the seminar and has more details.
