Occupy Wall Street Protesters Being Asked to Leave

Protesters who have been occupying a park in lower Manhattan are voicing concerns that plans to clean the private park they are in is an effort to permanently remove them. New York City officials say the park has become unsanitary. The owners of the park now want to clean it. Officials say the protesters will not be able to return. Protesters were sweeping the pavement this morning and one protester told reporters that this is the cleanest protest he's ever been to. The protesters say they have been “self sufficient” and taking care of the park, and they believe that the park being cleaned is a cover up for an “eviction notice.” This is the fourth week of the Occupy Wall Street protests. Smaller versions of the protests have sparked around the nation. City officials say the cleaning will begin tomorrow.
