More People in Northern Michigan Buying Locally Grown Food

Buying local…It's something people have been doing for years; but now, it's more convenient to buy food that's grown right down the road. The more the demand increases, the more the farmers are willing to commit to planting.

Every season in northern Michigan, there's produce people look forward to buying from local markets…and, distributors, deliver.

Distributors say, there are many benefits to locally-grown products, but it's not just fruit, it's the value-added products, as well. Markets say, they're seeing more people visiting, to get food they can only find in northern Michigan.

The quality of the food in northern Michigan, is what makes the local economy, continue to grow.
