Feedback At 5:00-Go to Jail or Go to Church?

A Police Chief in Alabama is coming under fire after announcing a controversial initiative last week.

“Operation ROC” stands for ‘Restore Our Community.'

It offers first time, non-violent offenders a choice: serve time behind bars, or go to church every Sunday for one year.

The Police Chief says he believes the program is legal and plans to move forward with the idea.

Those against the program, say it merges church and state and is unconstitutional.

What do you think? Do you support the idea of Operation ROC? Or is it unconstitutional? Why or why not?
