Inmate Dies in Isabella County Jail
An investigation is underway on the death of an inmate at the Isabella County Jail over the weekend.
Bradford Gibson had only been in his cell for an hour before he was found unconscious by correction officers.
Police say he was unruly while being arrested and was placed in the cell immediately to calm down before he could be booked.
Sheriff Leo Mioduszewski has never had an inmate die in his jail since he took office in 2004.
An autopsy will determine the cause of death but results may take up to two to four weeks.
9&10's Eric Lloyd spoke directly with the Sheriff for the details on the death.
