Limited Showers

* Lingering rain showers from M-55 northward * Morning Clouds Tomorrow * Less Humidity into the Weekend ——————————————— Colder air is pushing south from Canada. This is producing some light showers north of M-32 but it's nothing big. Winds stay strong in the U.P. while the Lower Peninsula will have NW winds of less than 15 mph later tonight. Temperatures cool down into the upper 50's to low 60's. Thursday starts off with some morning clouds but they won't last all day. Increasing sunshine and breezy conditions are forecast with highs in the low to middle 70's. High pressure builds in Thursday night to Friday morning…. be prepared for a chilly night with lows in the 40's. Some 30's are possible in the coldest spots like the Au Sable River Valley. You'll need the sunglasses Friday as well as the coming weekend. Sunny to mostly sunny skies are expected with highs generally in the 70's. The only fly in the ointment is Friday night when there's the chance of a few showers from the Straits northward into the Upper Peninsula. – Tom
