Dougherty Siblings Face Multiple Charges

Authorities are trying to sort out charges against the Dougherty siblings who were arrested after a nation-wide man hunt. The chase for the three ended in Colorado on Wednesday morning. The two men and one woman face 4 charges each of first-degree assault on a peace officer. They also have no-bond warrants in Georgia and Florida. The manhunt for the siblings started on August 2 after the three fired at least 20 shots at a Florida police officer who tried to pull them over. Later, police say the trio robbed a Georgia bank. The Doughertys are expected to appear in a Colorado court today. On Tuesday police were alerted to a possible sighting of the three in Colorado Springs, then on Wednesday morning after a short chase officials arrested the Dougherty siblings in southern Colorado.
