Warren Jeffs Fires Attorneys, Seeks to Defend Himself

Polygamist group leader Warren Jeffs has fired his attorneys. Jeffs who faces 2 counts of sexual assault of a child, is seeking to represent himself. Yesterday, a judge has said she refuses to exclude evidence seized from Warren Jeffs compound in 2008. The ruling means that marriage and birth records, along with other information can be presented to the jury during the religious leaders trial. District Judge Barbara Walther is expected to make a decision this morning on whether to include evidence seized when Jeffs was arrest in 2006 in Nevada. Jeffs was arrested on his West Texas compound in 2008.
