U.S. Coast Guard Rescues People From Damaged Tour Boat Near Empire

It was a very scary situation for people on board a tour boat, hoping for a picturesque view of Northern Michigan. The U.S. Coast Guard from Traverse City brought passengers to safety after rough water damaged the boat. When they took a turn to head back, a wave crashed into the boat and the power went out. It happened in Leelanau County, and the boat washed ashore just north of Empire. The boat was trying to make its way back to Frankfort where it started out from. 9&10's Kelly Davis and photojournalist Eli Gardiner have more details on the incident.
