Cool and Comfy Tonight

*A refreshing night with lows in the 40's and 50's!* *Humidity increases late Wednesday-Weekend* *Much needed rain possible starting late Wednesday ————————————– Today was just incredible… tons of sunshine and very comfortable temperatures. High pressure is building into the state and that's going to reinforce the dry air. Tonight stays clear and pleasantly cool. Open the windows and let in the air. Overnight lows will be in the low 50's near the lakes, with middle 40's for the coldest inland locations. Wednesday begins with hazy sunshine but that fades away during the day. Showers are possible during the afternoon, especially west of I-75. The mercury warms into the middle 70's in the U.P. with low 80's for much of the Lower Peninsula. Winds shift to the south at 5-15mph. Tomorrow night looks as if many areas will see wet weather make a return. AND for many that's good news as it's been dry for much of this month. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast and some of the storms could be very heavy with torrential rain. A shower may linger into early Thursday otherwise plan on plenty of heat and humidity. You'll see hazy sunshine with highs in the 80's but with the humidity will make it feel like 90. The heat and humidity continues into the weekend with relief not arriving until next week. – Tom
