Officials Find 300 Acre Marijuana Plantation in Mexico

The Mexican Army says they have found the largest marijuana plantation ever detected in the country. The army says the field covers 300 acres in Baja California state. This plantation is 4 times larger than those discovered in northern Chihuahua state in 1984. Soldiers destroy the fields by cutting them down and burning the plants. The Defense Department said soldiers found the field while on patrol Thursday.
