Betty Ford Will be Laid To Rest Next to Husband
A motorcade carrying the body of former First Lady Betty Ford left the Gerald R. Ford museum earlier today and traveled across Grand Rapids to a church for her funeral. Dozens of well wishers lined the streets to watch the hearse pull away. The Ford family rode in the processional in black SUV's. After the service at Grace Episcopal Church, Ford's casket will return to the museum where she will be buried next to her husband former President Gerald R. Ford.
