She has already been in jail for nearly 3 years. 10:00 AM-This morning, Casey Anthony was sentenced to 4 years in prison for lying to investigators. But, because of her time already served, Anthony could be free in a matter of weeks. A judge in Orlando says the 3 years she has already spent behind bars, and her good behavior while in jail means she could be released in late July or early August. Anthony was found guilty of 4 counts of lying to detectives who were trying to find her daughter, Caylee who went missing in 2008. She lied and told detectives she worked at Universal Studios, left her daughter with a nanny named Zanny, then left her daughter with friends but had received a phone call from her. Judge Belvin Perry fined Casey $1,000 for each count and said attorneys from both sides will have to decide how much time she should be credited for.
