Project in Big Rapids Refreshes Water Safety

There is a push in Big Rapids this week to remind people to be safe on the water. The Jaycees and the American Red Cross are sponsoring events throughout the city. It's part of the Muskegon River Water Safety Project. They will be demonstrating safety towers installed after two young girls drowned. Sammy the Salmon will be there as well. The Red Cross will also offer CPR certification and a babysitter boot camp.
