Whitey Bulger Expected to Arrive in Boston Today

Law enforcement officials say notorious gangster James “Whitey” Bulger is expected to return home to Boston today. Bulger was captured in Santa Monica Wednesday along with his longtime girlfriend Catherine Greig. Bulger had spent 16 years running from authorities. Bulger and Grieg could have an initial court appearance in federal court as early as Friday. Bluger fled from Boston in 1995 just before being charged in a massive racketeering indictment. He is charged in connection with 19 murders and was on the FBI's “Ten Most Wanted” list.
