Some Weekend Sunshine in Store

*Evening drizzle then some clearing overnight* *Some sunshine returns for the weekend* *More storms in the forecast for Monday* *The last couple days of June and the first several days of July could provide us with warmer than normal temperatures* ——- What a work-week we have had with plenty of rain, storms and mostly cooler than normal temperatures. But the weekend is still looking brighter and warmer. The skies will clear a bit from SW to NE overnight. Lows will be in the middle 40's to around 50 W/SW areas to the lower to middle 50's N/NE with the thicker clouds hanging around through daybreak in those N/NE areas. Winds N/NW 5-13mph. Partly cloudy skies are on tap for Saturday. Highs will be in the lower to middle 70's with the coolest readings near the Great Lakes as some lake breezes should kick in. Sunday is also looking partly cloudy with the mercury getting up into the middle to upper 70's north and upper 70's to lower 80's south which is normal for this time of year. Another system takes aim on the region Monday. This means another chance for showers and scattered storms. -Meteorologist Jim Lehocky
