Cause Determined for Deadly 2009 Plane Crash in Vanderbilt

The National Transportation Safety board is blaming something they call an aerodynamic stall for the October 2009 deadly plane crash in Vanderbilt. Dr. Patrick McNamara, the pilot, and his passenger, Christopher Hasty, both died in the crash. After investigating, the NTSB believes the pilot did not maintain adequate airspeed during a low altitude turn, causing a spin and loss of control.
