A little morning drizzle is lingering in some areas. A much more quiet day is in store, and no severe weather, storms, or even rain is in the forecast for later this afternoon. Today and right through the weekend we'll get relief from the intense heat of the past two days. Highs today only reaching the 60's to a low 70 in a few select locations. The temperature forecast is a little tough today because of the leftover cloud cover, and some areas may not even hit 60 today if the clouds stick around longer than expected this afternoon. Winds are out of the North, 6-12mph. Tonight will be mostly clear and dry for all, but clouds will increase overnight. Lows will be mainly in the 40's, with a few areas dipping below 40. Calm NE winds overnight, 4-8mph. By tomorrow morning, mostly cloudy skies will have taken over again, with partly sunny skies to the North. Clouds will quickly take over the North too, and afternoon showers will move in but stay mainly south of Cadillac. Highs tomorrow will still be on the cooler side, at least in comparison to yesterday. High of 63-72 degrees. Saturday morning starts off rather gray and quite rainy, but the rain quickly moves out by afternoon and brings the clouds with it. Most will see partly to mostly sunny skies by late afternoon. Highs range from 63-74 degrees. Sunday is looking nice and sunny, but cooler, as highs will stay in the 60's. The start of next week looks warmer, with temperatures in the 70's and plenty of sunshine. -Meteorologist Katie Dupree
