Deadly Tornadoes Touchdown in Massachusetts

Deadly Tornadoes ripped through parts of western and central Massachusetts Wednesday evening, leaving 4 dead and dozens injured. Governor Deval Patrick said Thursday morning he feels fortunate that the death toll wasn't higher because the tornadoes formed so quickly. Residents in damaged areas are being asked to stay off roads. Schools are closed for the day and state workers have the day off while officials assess the damage. At least 2 tornadoes touched down in the region which rarely sees such severe weather. In Springfield, 1,000 National Guardsmen are patrolling streets to discourage looting. A state of emergency has been declared. Power is still out for tens of thousands of people. FOX 32 News will continue to bring you the latest updates as they become available.
