Sen. Levin Dedicates Multi-Million Dollar Upgrades to Camp Grayling

Senator Carl Levin dedicated a new barracks complex and dining facilities at Camp Grayling Wednesday afternoon. The Deputy Post Commander for the base says Levin was instramental in getting the money for the project and that most of their housing facilities were out of date. The new buildings will allow soldiers to train at the base year-round because many of the old barracks didn't have heat. The nearly 17 million dollar complex was just half of a bigger project to upgrade housing on the base but the rest of the funding was cut by Congress. 9 and 10's Kyle Mitchell and Photojournalist Derek MacIntyre have more on what the upgrades will mean for training on the base.
