Severe Threat Over…. Plan on more strong winds though.

Pleasant, Shepherd, Winn areas. 3/4″ near Atlanta Many others in NW and NE Lower with reports of 1/4″ to 1/2″. Tree Damage- Indian River, Cheboygan, Wolverine, Elk Rapids, Boyne City, Ellsworth, Kewadin, Interlochen, Gaylord, Cadillac and Grawn ———————————— Severe storms ripped through the region this evening and are now a thing of the past. The rest of the night remains windy but with clouds moving out. Only the U.P. will see some clouds develop late. The humidity heads as well and that means a much cooler more comfortable night. Lows will be down in the 50's with west winds of 10-25 mph. Winds get even stronger tomorrow with speeds of 15-35 mph and gusts near 45 mph. A wind advisory in effect for much of the region. The Upper Peninsula can look forward to mostly cloudy skies and highs in the low to middle 60's. The Lower Peninsula will see mostly sunny skies with highs in the 60's to low 70's. Thursday's winds are a lot lower as temperatures rise a few degrees reach the middle 60's to middle 70's. Mostly sunny skies are forecast with late afternoon clouds rolling in. Showers and thunderstorms move in overnight and last into the Friday morning. The afternoon then settles down with highs reach the 80's in spots. – Tom
