Police Continue to Search For Robbery Suspect in Mecosta County

Police in Mecosta County are searching for a man they say walked into a pharmacy with a weapon and demanded drugs. Deputies say the armed man walked into The Remus Pharmacy around 1:00 Monday afternoon demanding prescription medication. Two nearby schools, Chippewa Hills Mosaic and St. Michael's were put on lockdown for about an hour while Police searched the area. No customers were inside the pharmacy and the time and nobody was hurt. Witnesses saw the suspect sitting on a nearby bench before the robbery. Officials say the suspect is a white man in his late 20's, about 6 ft. tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with gray sweat pants with a black stripe down the sides. He was also wearing dark rimmed glasses.
