Thousands Protest Proposals in Lansing

Thousands have gathered at the Capitol in Lansing to protest the State budget. Teachers, public employees and others are protesting. Organizers say the rally could be the biggest yet for the state's current budget cycle. Unions say they are upset about proposals that could undermine collective bargaining rights. Other groups are upset because of proposed cuts to education funding and other programs. Governor Rick Snyder has said that protests are part of the democratic process. 9&10 News will have more from Lansing tonight on 9&10 News at 5:00 and 6:00.
