FAA Orders Inspection of Boeing 737 Jetliners

Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration ordered inspections of more than 80 Boeing 737 planes like the one that a piece of fuselage tore away while the plan was 30,000 feet above Arizona last week. The order will be issued today and officials say the aim is to find weaknesses in the metal fuselage of the planes. Most of the planes required for inspection are operated by Southwest Airlines. A flight attendant suffered minor injuries last week when the fuselage tore away from the plane. The plane made an emergency landing in Yuma, Arizona.
